Visa and MasterCard Interchange Rates increased significantly effective April 1, 2005 as a result of establishing Interchange categories related to rewards to cardmembers. Processors pass on these increases directly to the merchant. If your processor has not informed you of the rate increase, contact them immediately.
Visa and MasterCard announce interchange adjustments for implementation effective each April and October.
